Nejmeh.com The Dream That Came True..

The story goes back to early 1997 when Moussa Alameddine, a dedicated Nejmeh Fan since his childhood, got introduced to the world of Internet during his studies at university. At once, admired by this new global medium that breaks all boundaries, and introduces a world wide exchange of news and information, Moussa had the idea to design a page for his favorite team.
 

The first practical effort started on December 15, 1997, with the launch of "The Unofficial Website of Nejmeh Sporting Club", several pages were assembled quickly, bits and pieces of information were gathered from various sources, and the site was online. The site started attracting increased number of visitors over the next few months thanks to the continuous and fresh updates of Nejmeh Club news & results.

As the site continued to grow in importance, Moussa contacted the club members, and proposed a plan to turn the website official. The approval and blessing were granted, the famous domain name NEJMEH.COM was registered on April 22, 1998, and the official site was launched on June 1, 1998. The new official website had specific sections for the club, team, fans office, news & results, gallery, chat room, and guestbook. The site provided updated news, and results to all Nejmeh fans, as well as video clips to Nejmeh goals, an exclusive service to all Nejmeh fans at that time.

The next major update on the site was on January 1, 2000, with the launch of the third version of our site on the new millennium. More sections added, as well as major update on the gallery section. The site enjoyed an ever growing audience, and a greater role in linking Nejmeh Fans all over the world with the club in Beirut. Nejmeh Club developed friendships, and contacts with several clubs, players, coaches, soccer agents, many current and former players got to communicate with their families and friends around the world through Nejmeh.com.

The fourth and current version of our site was launched on January 1, 2004 to celebrate our 6th. birthday under the wise supervision of the club administration headed by president Mohammad Fanj, and guided by Sheikh Bahaa Eddine Rafiq El Hariri. Our site stands among the top Lebanese websites to provide a professional coverage of Nejmeh Club activities to the global internet community.

The milestone of Nejmeh website will be increasing the role of the fans who can post their articles, send their favorite Nejmeh clips, and pictures, and share their opinions with other Nejmeh & Football fans in Lebanon and around the world.
